About Integrated Recycling
Heritage
Integrated Recycling’s patented process was developed by Ausplaztik, which became part of the Integrated Packaging Group in February 2010.
The business was developed with the simple idea of using waste plastic from vine covers in the Sunraysia district of northern Victoria and turning them into vine posts that do not leech chemicals into the soil as is the case with treated pine posts.
Environmental Benefits
A significant amount of waste plastic ends up in landfills, but utilising Integrated Recycling’s patented technology, waste no longer means landfill. In fact not only will less waste go to landfill, but the products will lead to less destruction of forests. In many cases the products made by Integrated Recycling are more suited to the task for which they are designed than using timber.
Advanced Technology & Uses
Using Integrated Recycling’s patented process, waste plastic is reduced to a granular form, combined with other waste products destined for landfill and turned into a unique composite material that is strong, durable, inert and non leeching, and resistant to water. It is from this material that Integrated Recycling makes its range of products for use in agricultural, industrial and construction industries.
