Developing long term and sustainable solutions requires innovation and collaboration with technical, funding and trialling partners to realise this ambition.

In 2016, Sustainability Victoria gave Monash University a research grant to test and analyse the performance of a railway sleeper containing flexible plastics. Sustainability Victoria and our other collaborators have enabled the development of Polytensilate, our sustainable advanced material, into Duratrack railway sleepers; noise barrier walls and Blox safety supports.

Duratrack is a game changer and this video ‘Demonstrating Circular Design’ tells our story …the journey continues.
